It stressed in a statement that this terrorist act, which is a criminal offense by Muslim consensus, includes the types of taboos that are known in Islam such as killing, betrayal, treachery, aggression, intimidation to the believers and attacks on the worshipers, all of which are obnoxious.
The statement pointed out that terrorism is an evil that must be uprooted and eradicated, stressing the importance of joint action and coordination among the countries of the Islamic world and the world at large, especially since the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia launched the Islamic Military Alliance to Combat Terrorism.
