Family sued Celtic Park for football fan death

(MENAFN) At Celtic Park during an international game, a fan has tripped in a stairwell causing his death. The family of the deceased is filing a law suit against the club.

In November 2014 after Scotland's Euro 2016 qualifier in opposition to the Republic of Ireland, the accident that resulted in death has occurred for the man from Cumnock in Ayrshire aged 20, Nathan McSeveney.

Celtic FC is thought by the family's attorneys to have "failed in its duty of care to protect Mr McSeveney", however, Celtic refused to be accountable for a mere accident.
