Searching for missing Palestinians in Gaza tunnel resumes

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Gaza, Oct.31 (Petra) - Palestinian ambulance and Civil Defense crews resumed early Tuesday searching for missing persons inside an underground tunnel in the border area, south of Gaza, after it was shelled yesterday by Israeli forces, leaving seven Palestinians killed and 12 others injured.

The spokesman for Gaza's Health Ministry, Ashraf al-Qidra, said that the dead and wounded Palestinians were exposed to gas inhalation.

He also called on the concerned authorities to detect the weapons' types used in such attack, noting the occupation forces usually use weapons that are internationally prohibited against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
