(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DUBAI, Oct 19 (KUNA) -- The State of Kuwait has booked a large section of the ground on which Expo-2020 will be held, said the Kuwaiti Information Ministry Undersecretary Tareq Al-Mezrem on Thursday.
Bearing the logo, "Kuwait Vision 2025," the Kuwaiti pavilion will showcase various aspects of the country's development strategy, featuring resources' sustainability, alternative energy, human development and information economy, said Al-Mezrem in a statement to KUNA after signing the contract for participation, during a meeting held by the steering committee.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mohammad Al-Rashed, the executive manager of the water research center at Kuwait Foundation for Advancement of Science said the Kuwaiti pavilion would be built in April 2018.
Ziab Al-Rashidi, the State of Kuwait General Consul in Dubai and Northern Emirates, affirmed that the UAE authorities expressed readiness to furnish the Kuwaiti pavilion organizers with all possible facilities. Al-Mezrem was accompanied by a group of senior officials. (end) smr.rk
