Morocco's Net International Reserves Rise by 29.6 as of April 8


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Morocco's net international reserves amounted to MAD 236.7 billion until April 8th 2016 recording a 29.6 percent increase on an annual basis Bank Al-Maghrib said.

The reserves recorded a 0.7 percent weekly decrease the central bank pointed out in its weekly indicators. During the week of April 7-13 2016 the central bank injected MAD 9 billion.

Over the course of this period the interbank rate fell to 2.20 percent while the average daily exchanged volume rose to MAD 2 billion.

During the same period the dirham appreciated by 0.17 percent against the euro and depreciated by 0.28 percent against the dollar.
