Erdogan Hollande discuss fight against Deash in Paris


(MENAFN - The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met his French counterpart on Monday to discuss operations against Daesh in Syria he said.

Erdogan and Francois Hollande met on the sidelines of the UN climate change summit in Paris.

“We had the chance to evaluate what we are doing and what we can do jointly for the coalition forces against Daesh” the Turkish president told the reporters.

He added: “We have planned the steps we will take in the next phase.”

Erdogan said they had also talked about Hollande’s meeting on Thursday with Russian PresidentVladimir Putin which followedlast week’s shooting down of a Russian warplane on the Turkey-Syria border.
