(MENAFN - Jordan News Agency) Jordan will take part in the Nanotechnology International program that will be held on Friday at the Grenoble Institute of Technology in France.
The Creativity Club in Karak chose engineer Razan Ghalib Sarayreh to represent Jordan at the event, which will bring together some 32 participants from various countries around the world.
President of the Club Hussam Tarawneh stressed that Grenoble Institute specializes in the implementation of advanced scientific research, especially nanotechnology, which is used in applied, technical and medical sciences.
Sarayreh told Petra that such participation would encourage her to pursue scientific and technological creativity. She also spoke of the club's efforts in urging Jordanian youths and students to participate in international events.
Nanotechnology is the manipulation of matter on an atomic, molecular and supramolecular scale. The earliest widespread description of nanotechnology referred to the particular technological goal of precisely manipulating atoms and molecules for the fabrication of macroscale products, also now referred to as molecular nanotechnology.
