Earlier this month it was reported that a teacher from Mississippi was involved in a serious traffic accident in Rankin County.
The injured man is a teacher from Brandon High School who was awarded the honor of Teacher of the Year in 2013 by West Point School District.
The accident occurred on the morning of Tuesday January 13th near the Exit 59 ramp on Interstate 80 (westbound).
