Arab countries exports from Brazil reach USD11.4b


(MENAFN) Total exports from Brazil to Arab countries have reached USD11.43 billion from January to October of 2017, surpassing the previous year's total of USD9.34 billion by 22.31 percent, according to the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC).

ABCC stated that Brazil's overall exports rose from USD153.07 billion in 2016 to USD183.46 billion during the period, up by 19.85 percent of this total, 6.23 percent corresponded to exports to Arab countries.

Automobiles, aircraft engines and turbines, beef, chassis and motors, livestock, iron ore, maize, refined sugar, soybeans and coffee beans, have combined drove the hike in exports.

The statements are based on statistics released by the Brazilian Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services.
