Abdullah bin Zayed meets Canadian Minister of International Trade

ABU DHABI, 19th November, 2017 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met today with Francois-Philippe Champagne, Canada's Minister of International Trade.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed means of enhancing cooperation between the two countries, especially in the fields of trade and investment.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed welcomed the minister's visit, reaffirming the UAE's keenness to strengthen its bilateral relations with Canada across various sectors including trade, investment and energy.

Mr. Champagne emphasised the importance of enhancing bilateral ties between Canada and the UAE. He also lauded the UAE's development and prosperity across various fields, enabling the nation to occupy leading positions at regional and international levels.
