Afghanistan- Abdullah to attend SCO summit in Russian

(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) (Pajhwok): Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah will represent in upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Russian, a statement from his office says on Sunday.

The Russian Ambassador to Afghanistan Alexander Mantytskiy called on Abdullah at his office on Sunday and extended invitation from the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev for participation in the multinational summit.

The Russian envoy recalled the scholarship facility provided by his country for Afghan students and reiterated Moscow continued support to Afghanistan in different fields.

The CEO also stressed over joint fight against terrorism which is a common enemy between the two countries.
