The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that clashes broke out after the Israeli occupation troops stormed the town, searched locals homes and arrested a number of the Palestinian youths.

"During the clashes, Israeli soldiers fired toxic gas canisters against the citizens, leaving a number of them suffocated", the statement added.
