
UAE, Serbia sign MoU to establish joint committee for consular affairs
ABU DHABI, 4th November, 2017 (WAM) -- The UAE and Serbia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, for the establishment of a joint committee for consular affairs.
The MoU was signed in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, by H.H. sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Ivica Dacic, Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah and Dacic discussed ties of friendship and co-operation between the UAE and Serbia and ways to enhance them. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the visit of Dacic to the UAE and expressed the country's keenness to furthering relations of friendship and co-operation with Serbia.
The Serbian Foreign Minister applauded his country's progressive relations with the UAE. He also praised the achievements made by the UAE in all fields and the stature it has attained, thanks to the vision of its wise leadership.
