Canada and N Zealand education fair on Nov 7

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Representatives from educational institutions in Canada and New Zealand will attend an education fair in Doha on November 7 to discuss study-abroad opportunities with attendees.
The event will be held at Mercure Grand Hotel, Msheireb Street, from 11am to 5pm, the organisers have said in a statement.
With an 'effective education system in place in countries such as Canada and New Zealand, the graph of students desiring to study abroad has climbed, the statement notes. While many students wish to travel abroad for studies, only some are aware of the process and the requisites that are needed to accomplish this. The education fair will give them a chance to guide themselves through the application process and also find the programme of their preference.
The participating institutions are College of New Caledonia, Columbia College, Douglas College, Durham College, North Island College, Okanagan College, Golden Hills Schools Division, Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology, Thompson Rivers University, Trent University, University of New Brunswick, University of Waterloo, Vancouver Island University and Wilfred Laurier University.
'The choice of the right universities and right kind of courses will shape your future. These countries, being the hub of education, have also delineated specific courses according to which the application process should be initiated. Therefore, from the initial counselling until the time the admission is complete, the entire process must be undertaken with prudence and a conscious effort must be applied,
the statement noted.
Glinks International Consultancy is organising the event and 'will provide consultation for a smooth application process.
