Kuwait- Egyptian expat bribing official


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Nov 4: Officers from the Technical Examination Department in coordination with their colleagues from Criminal Security Department arrested an Egyptian expatriate who tried to bribe a technical examiner at Hawalli Technical Examination Department to pass his suspicious transaction, reports Al-Shahed daily. Apparently, the suspect approached an employee to assist in ensuring that his document scaled through in return for a specific sum, and the employee reported the case to head of the unit who also briefed the director of department Colonel Ibrahim Al-Sahli. Colonel Al-Sahli told the employee to play along with the suspect until he was arrested upon concluding the deal. Meanwhile, Ahmadi police officers arrested the driver of a pickup for performing vehicle stunts in Hadiya, says Al-Seyassah.
