Kuwaiti oil price up 95 cents to stand at USD 55.98 per barrel


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 28 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went up 95 cents and settled at USD 55.98 per barrel Friday, compared to USD 55.03 per barrel since last Thursday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Saturday.

In world markets, oil prices were up due to report of support by big producers to extend the agreement on reducing production led by OPEC members and Russia.

Oil crude price Brent mixed was up 1.14 to stand at USD 60.44 while the US crude Western Texas oil was also up 1.26 and settled at USD 53.90 per barrel. (end) asj.mb
