Cairo, Muharram 17, 1439, October 07, 2017, SPA -- Egypt welcomed the US decision to lift economic sanctions imposed on Sudan since 1997.
The spokesman of Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abu Zeid said in a statement today that the US decision would contribute to support the stability and development of Sudan, pointing out that this decision is compatible with Egypt's stance, demanding the lifting of these sanctions, and its efforts through contacts with the US side in this regard, in solidarity witt State of Sudan.
