Kuwait- Iranian held fleeing


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Sept 25: An Iranian expatriate evading ten years imprisonment verdict for drug-related offense was apprehended by Failaka security men when he tried to escape to his home country via sea. Initial investigation revealed the accused traveled by boat to Failaka Island to facilitate his escape, indicating some people were waiting at the Kuwaiti-Iranian sea borders to transport the accused to his home country. Meanwhile, security operatives arrested an Arab man for driving in the opposite direction of the road. He's said to have breached trust and violated residency law. And, Ahmadi patrolmen nabbed a Kuwaiti man wanted for a financial offense and found brain stimulant in his possession. He was taken to the relevant authority.
