Iran unveils ballistic missile with 2,000 km range


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) TEHRAN, Sept 22 (KUNA) -- Iran on Friday unveiled a new ballistic missile with range of 2,000 km (1,200 miles), capable of carrying several warheads, according to the state television.

It quoted head of the Revolutionary Guards' aerospace division, Amirali Hajizadeh, while speaking on the sidelines of a military parade in Tehran as saying that the missile has been designed and manufactured by the Iranian Defense Ministry.(end).
