(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Sept 11 (KUNA) -- The Arab League Monday condemned a "terrorist" attack that killed 18 Egyptian forces and injured others in northern Sinai, Egypt.
Secretary General Ahmad Abul Gheit called for further Arab and international efforts to step up fight against terrorism to ultimately uproot it.
He said in a statement that extremist ideology was threatening societies around the world.
He underlined the Arab League solidarity with Egypt in confronting terrorist acts, which aimed at undermining security and stability of the country. (end) mfm.bs
