(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Occupied Jerusalem, Sept.5 (Petra) -- Israeli ministries of health and of agriculture Tuesday asked residents to immediately destroy eggs with the brand of the " Yesh Maof " company.
The Haaretz daily Tuesday reported that Israeli authorities have recently discovered a dangerous strain of Salmonella in eggs distributed in markets . Eggs are suspected as the source of the poisoning, whose symptoms include stomach cramps, vomiting and diarrhea. Children, the elderly, and people with weak immune systems are particularly susceptible.
Israeli media outlets reported that large quantities of the infected balls, produced by the Yesh Maof company, were distributed in the markets .
