Dubai Municipality warehouse holds fire drill

DUBAI, 31th August, 2016 (WAM) -- The Dubai Municipality recently conducted an evacuation drill at its Al Ramool warehouse in cooperation with Dubai Civil Defence Department, Dubai Police and Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services.

The drill was held in the early morning with the creation of a mock fire in the administrative building. According to Civil Defence analysis, the drill achieved 95 percent success as all employees were evacuated within two minutes. People with special needs were also moved to the assembly point safely without any difficulty.

The evacuation scenario was created with the aim of enhancing the preparedness of all organisations concerned and reducing injuries and casualties in the event of such incidents.
