UAE- SZR's Hadiqa interchange closed till Sunday

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The road closure is temporary, while Shaikh Zayed Road's South Bridge lanes towards Abu Dhabi are being opened

The Hadiqa Road interchange along Shaikh Zayed Road (SZR) will be closed over the weekend starting Thursday at midnight until 5am on Sunday, July 24, Dubais Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced.

Please note there will be road closure from the exit of the bridge leading to Al Hadiqa Street and Al Meydan from SZR, the RTA posted on Twitter.

The road closure is in support of the opening of the remaining lanes on the South Bridge on SZR towards Abu Dhabi to aid a smooth flow of the traffic on this bridge, RTA added.

RTA advised motorists going towards Al Hadiqa Street to use Umm Al Sheif Road as an alternative route. While drivers going towards Al Meydan Road can use the Al Manara bridge exit on Shaikh Zayed Road.

RTA also told road users to check their social media platforms (RTA_Dubai) for further details on the closure. We thank our road users for their continuous cooperation and we apologise for any possible inconvenience caused by this temporary closure, RTA said.
