Qatar- Four US Police Officers Shot Dead In Protests


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Washington, July 08 (QNA) - Four Dallas police officers have been shot dead by sniper fire during protests against the shooting of black men by police, authorities say. The protest was drawing to an end when shots rang out near the area of Market and Main streets in downtown Dallas.
Dallas Police chief David Brown said it appeared at least two snipers had fired from elevated positions during the protest, shooting 11 Dallas police officers. Four of those officers were killed, two were in surgery, and three were in a critical condition.
