Saudi- Pakistani Narcotic Smuggler Executed in Dammam

Dammam, Sha'ban 10, 1437, May 17, 2016, SPA -- The Ministry of Interior issued a statement today on the execution of a criminal for smuggling a quantity of heroin into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It explained that Mohammad Ishaq Thawab Gul - a Pakistani national - was arrested while trying to smuggle a quantity of heroin into the Kingdom and the investigation with him resulted in his confession and he was referred to the Shariah Court which proved him guilty of the accusation of smuggling the heroin and sentenced him to the execution, the rule was approved by the Court of appeal and the Supreme Court.
A Royal Decree was issued to legally implement the sentence.
The statement pointed out that the criminal / Mohammad Ishaq Thawab Gul was executed - On Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in the city of Dammam, Eastern region.
The Ministry of the Interior announced that to confirm to the public that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' government is keen on fighting drugs of all kinds due to their serious damage to individuals and the society and that perpetrators of such crimes will be legally punished.
