Morocco Plays Fundamental Role in Fight against Terrorism: Belgian PM

(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Morocco plays a fundamental role in the fight against terrorism Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel said.

“Morocco is a country that plays a fundamental role in the fight against terrorism” he pointed out in an interview with the daily “La Capitale” expressing the wish of his country to strengthen cooperation with Morocco in this area.

Michel who started a visit this Monday to Morocco added that the Belgian delegation will multiply during this visit high level contacts with Moroccan officials in order to ”boost” the exchange of information on terrorism.

He also underlined the approach adopted by HM King Mohammed VI in the religion field adding that the two countries have a “very good ” cooperation in various fields.

The Belgian official started this Monday a two-day visit to the kingdom during which he will have talks with Government Chief and the speakers of the two houses of parliament.
