Suicide blast kills 12 people in N. Baghdad


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Twelve people were killed and 30 other wounded Saturday in a suicide explosion in northern Baghdad, a police source said.
A car bomber blew himself up at Aden Square in Kathemia suburb in the north of the Iraqi capital, leaving 12 people killed and at least 30 others wounded, the source told KUNA.
The injured people were taken to hospital for necessary medical treatment, the source added.
Baghdad occasionally sees suicide explosions targeting police facilities and busy places and markets.
