(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The city will witness a very hot day today with the maximum temperature soaring up to 46 degrees C in Doha and Abu Samra. Humidity levels at night are expected to be high, ranging on an average between 80 and 85 percent in Doha, Al Wakrah and Al Khor. In Al Shamal it would be between 70 and 78 percent.
Al Ruwais will be cooler today with day temperature expected to be 38 degrees C while at night the mercury level would likely be 32 degrees C. In Messaieed and Al Wakrah, the maximum temperature forecast is 42 degrees C, while the minimum, 32 degrees C.
A weather forecaster told this newspaper that the current spell of high heat and humidity would likely ease a little from Friday.
