(MENAFN- Arab Times) Director of Farwaniya Labor Department at the Public Authority for Manpower Saleh Al-Anzi disclosed that all transactions related to transfer and issuance of work permit for all categories of employees will be done via electronic gate soon, reports Al-Jarida daily.
In an interview, Al-Anzi added the administrative decision no. 719/2015 regarding financial insurance for workers was amended. He explained that financial insurance was formally deducted from expatriates as the cost of work permit was KD 250.
He noted the financial insurance will be collected after the worker arrives in the country and before processing the residence. He also said over 90 thousand files are currently registered at Farwaniya Labor Department, which is the largest after Capital governorate.
He reiterated strict legal procedures await the employees who are involved in approving transactions illegally through bribery.
