Egypt's Sawari Ventures to conclude USD50m funding

(MENAFN) Egyptian Sawari Ventures forecasts to conclude its USD50 million finance to new investors by the end of this year, according to the firm's founder, Reuters reported.

The financing deal opened its doors for new investors in March during Sharm el-Sheikh's forum, through which Egypt concluded ventures with an estimated value of about USD36 billion.

'The fund will invest mostly in tech and clean-tech companies and knowledge-based entrepreneurs,' a business official said in a statement issued in a conference in Abu Dhabi.
