84 percent of Jordan's vegetable exports go to Arab Gulf states


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Jordan's exports of fruits and vegetables to Arab Gulf states yesterday stood at 1,444 tons out of a total of 1717 tons exported to various other countries, accounting for 84 percent of the total exports.

Assistant Secretary General of the Agriculture Ministry for Marketing and Information, Salah Tarawneh, told Petra that 780 tons of these exports are tomatoes. He expected the volume of exports to Gulf states to rise due to the end of the production season in these countries.
