UAE's Senaat to invest USD1.36b on new industrial projects

(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi's General Holding Corporation (Senaat) is set to invest USD1.36 billion on expanding its portfolio of industrial projects, Arabian Business reported.

The government owned corporation said that the new two-year projects come after an investment worth USD4.35 billion over the previous five years.

The company said that its main goal for the time is to diversify with its investments after witnessing a great success in oil projects. It is said that much of the company's earlier success was due to oil investments.

"I am very confident about the future of our country and this is why we are investing USD1.36 billion in more industrial projects over the next two years." Senaat's chairman said in a statement.
