Five Cameroonian Soldiers Killed in Fresh Boko Haram Attacks


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency)  Five Cameroonian soldiers were killed when their vehicles were ambushed by the Boko Haram militant group in separate attacks, dpa quoted news reports as saying Tuesday.
Two soldiers were killed and two wounded when their vehicle was attacked in the Far North Region, local newspaper L'Oeil du Sahel said.
A Cameroonian policeman was killed when Boko Haram attacked a police station at Double, a locality that borders Nigeria.
On Monday, two soldiers were killed in an ambush, the report said.
The attacks come after Cameroonian forces killed 41 Boko Haram fighters in the Far North Region on Monday, a day after a large attack by the militant group.
