Kuwaiti Customs Confiscates 4 KG of Narcotics

(MENAFN- QNA) Four kilograms of narcotics were confiscated at the Abdali border point, Kuwait's General Administration for customs said Wednesday in a statement.

Director General of the Administration Khaled Al-Saif told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the country had recently been "bombarded" with attempts to smuggle narcotics through its borders; however, the majority of such attempts were thwarted by the customs' administration personnel.

The customs administration will step up its efforts to protect the country against the smuggling of narcotics, said Al-Saif.
