Lord Mayor of London meets with the BIBF


(MENAFNEditorial) The Lord Mayor of London, Right Honorouble Alderman Fiona Woolf visited the BIBF recently to meet with Senior Management and discuss opportunities for improved support from UK-based universities. The Lord Mayor's delegation of 17 included officials from the City of London, key personnel from various London-based institutions and representatives from the British Embassy. During the course of the discussion, the Head of Centres at BIBF each presented their programme offerings and highlighted the deep-rooted affiliation BIBF has with the United Kingdom. The delegation was notably impressed with the quality, magnitude and depth of the educational standard at BIBF and showed particular interest in BIBF's Islamic Finance Programmes. BIBF expressed its keenness to acquire support in the field of Actuarial Arbitration Science, as well as forming academic affiliations with different specialised universities and business schools in the UK.
