USD350m loan for India power project


(MENAFN) India will receive a USD350 million loan for power asset upgrades in Madhya Pradesh from lender, in a bid to help it meet increasing demand, Xinhua reported. Around 1,800 circuit kilometers of transmission lines will be funded, and more than 3,100 circuit kilometers of distribution lines. Also, transmission and distribution substations will be build or upgraded. The government of India is also providing a fund of USD150 million for the project due to complete completed by the end of 2018.
