Revenue from Cyprus' tourism sector up 16 percent in Oct.


(MENAFN) Cyprus Statistical Service announced that the revenue from the tourism sector surged 16.6 percent year-on-year in October, Xinhua reported. The Cyprus Statistical Service said that revenue from the sector hit USD338 million in October, up from USD290 million registered in the same month last year. The Cyprus Tourism Organization Director General said: "This proves that despite any obstacles, the tourist sector resisted the economic crisis."
