South Korea to afford Philippines with USD500 m loan


(MENAFN) South Korea has announced its plan of providing Philippines with USD500-million loan for typhoon relief, according to Qatar News Agency. The South Korean Finance Ministry discussed the aid plan with the Philippines' National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) in Manila. The long-term aid will be provided by Korea's Economic Development Cooperation Fund, and aims to help the Philippines restore damages.
