Education City Stadium To Host Eid Prayers, Festivities For Whole Family

Doha, Qatar: Education City Stadium, the iconic sporting arena of Qatar, will serve as a venue for Eid Al fitr prayer, followed by joyful Eid festivities for entire family.

Minaretein Center announced this on its social media, inviting community members for Eid prayers at 5:43am. Stadium gates 6,13, 17, 24, 28, 35 and 39 will be open with parking available at the West Car Park and EC Hospitality Parking and Oxygen Park Parking. For the elderly and people with disabilities, special access to the stadium will be available from gates 35 and 39.

Families can also avail the Tram services which will be available from Oxygen Park and Al Shaqab.

Additionally, there will be no Eid prayer at Education City Mosque.

As an effort to make this Eid a memorable one for the community, after the prayer, Eid festivities will begin which will include games, and activities for the whole family and will continue until 10am.

The stadium has become a regular site for Eid prayers since April 2023, due to its proven ability to safely accommodate large crowds, as demonstrated during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Since then more than 35,000 people have participated in each Eid prayer.
