33 Injured In Bus Accident In Eastern Sri Lanka
Colombo: A total of 33 people were injured when a bus carrying pilgrims collided with a lorry in Muthur, Trincomalee district, in Eastern province on Saturday, police said.
The bus was going from Sri Lanka's Western province to a pilgrimage site in Eastern province.
The injured have been admitted to the Muthur Hospital for treatment, police said, adding that 18 of the injured are women. Police were investigating the accident.
