Sudanese President Invites King Mohammed VI to Sudan


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Rabat – The President of Sudan, Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir, has invited the Moroccan Monarch, King Mohammed VI, to make an official visit to Sudan.

Special Envoy of the Republic of Sudan to King Mohammed VI, Lieutenant General Ali Osman Taha, made the announcement on Friday that Sudanese President, Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir, has invited the Moroccan Monarch to make an official visit to Sudan.

Ali Osman Taha made the announcement in a press conference following a royal reception on Friday at the Royal Palace in Fez. The official also revealed that King Mohammed VI accepted the invitation.

%E2%80%9CI handed over a letter to His Majesty the King an invitation from President Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir to visit the Republic of Sudan. His Majesty accept the invitation,%E2%80%9D he said.

The Sudanese Special Envoy added that King Mohammed VI praised the deep-rooted Moroccan-Sudanese relationship and confirmed Morocco's intention to develop existing relations by giving greater dynamism to joint ministerial committees.
