US Secretary of Defense to meet with Iraqi Prime Minister
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, Oct 22 (KUNA) -- US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter arrived in Baghdad on Saturday to meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Dr. Haidar Al-Abadi along with a number of Iraqi officials.
An official source told KUNA that the US Secretary of Defense will meet with the Iraqi Prime Minister to discuss the presence of the Turkish troops on Iraqi soil in addition to discussing the "battle for liberating Mosul".
Carter visited Ankara yesterday, during which he discussed the same issues with the Turkish officials. (end) ohh.mys
