Kuwait supports Niger's infrastructure with major loan


(MENAFN) The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) closed USD19.7 million loan arrangement with African Niger to fund a vital transportation scheme.

Accordingly, this is the 12th loan extended to Niger, as KFAED had delivered a total of eleven loans to the African country worth USD98.7 million to fund various infrastructure projects.

Basically, the money will support the building of a 92 kilometer-long road northeast of Niger that the project will enable traveling and movement of goods in throughout the nation.

Moreover, this act is not strange to the gulf nation, as it has been supporting countries all over the globe for a long time, a support that guarantees at least the decent living for people.
