Bangladesh aims to deepen trade relations with Pakistan


(MENAFN) Bangladesh is keen to establish a direct shipping line with Pakistan to decrease time and cost of transportation between the two neighbors.

According to the latest reports, both nations are extensively discussing taking advantage of their close proximity and consider advancing economic relations.

Meanwhile, overall trade between the two countries is USD743 million, which is heavily tilted in favor of Pakistan, and Bangladesh is working hard to change that.

Nowadays, Bangladesh holds strong foreign reserves of USD28 billion and it is self-sufficient in food and agriculture that is being exported to many countries.
