US Allies Conduct 29 Strikes in Iraq Syria

Washington Rajab 26 1437 May 3 2016 SPA -- The United States and its military coalition partners conducted 29 strikes against Daesh militants in Iraq and Syria the Combined Joint Task Force said.
In Iraq the coalition staged 25 strikes including seven near the Daesh stronghold of Mosul that hit six groups of Daesh fighters two vehicles three weapons caches a mortar system and other targets. Six other strikes near Fallujah hit five Daesh fighting position three tunnel entrances two staging areas and a bridge the taskforce said in a statement Tuesday.
In Syria four strikes near the cities of Al Shadaddi Ar Raqqah and Mar'a hit a Daesh finance center a weapons storage facility and two tactical units the statement said.
