PM to be briefed on talks with Turkey

(MENAFN- The Journal Of Turkish Weekly) An Israeli delegation holding secret talks with Turkish officials in Switzerland was expected to return Friday and brief Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu even as Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon told reporters there he was not sure an agreement would be reached.

Ya’alon said at a press conference that Turkey was hosting Hamas’ terror command post abroad something that Israel cannot accept. “I’m not sure that we are going to reach settlement. It may be but they have to address our conditions for any political settlement in order to overcome this obstacle.”

Meanwhile in Ankara Omer Celik spokesman for the ruling AK Party said “We have information that the talks are going well but unless we see practical implications of the talks we cannot say it’s a done deal.”
