U.S. Stocks End Stable
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) U.S. stocks finished little changed in a thinly traded preholiday session on Wednesday after a heavy round of economic data convinced investors the Federal Reserve remained on track for a potential interest-rate increase in December.
The S&P 500 SPX, -0.01% ended 0.27 point lower at 2,088.87, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.01% eked out a gain of 1.2 points to end at 17,813.39.
