Egypt, World Bank sign USD 550 mln agreement


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Egypt and the World Bank signed here Sunday a USD 550 million agreement to develop sanitation services in some 155 towns, villages, and rural areas.
After signing the agreement, Egyptian Minister of Housing Dr. Mustafa Madbouly affirmed that some 833,000 townspeople will benefit from the agreement.
The agreement is the first phase of a project which will total at USD 1.1 billion in cost, said a statement by the Ministry of International Cooperation.
