Turkish tanks pound ISIL sites
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Turkish tanks shelled the sites of the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) inside the Syrian territories near the border province of Kilis, said the Turkish Chief of Stuff on Wednesday.
This came after the ISIL militants opened fire toward Turkish army barracks in the border area, killing a soldier and wounding another, the source said in statement.
Meanwhile a Turkish soldier was killed and other was missing in clashes with infiltrators who were trying to cross the Turkish borders coming from Syria in Kilis.
