Al Kuwari attends Morocco cultural festival

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) H E Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari yesterday attended the 37th Asilah Annual Arts and Cultural Festival being held in Morocco under the patronage of King Mohammed VI. Dr Al Kuwari told one of the seminars on the sidelines that culture and education were among the means to bring people closer. He stressed that Qatar is committed to providing the best education for its people and praised Qatar Foundation's role in the regard. He said Qatar understands the role culture plays in development and that culture occupies a place in Qatar National Vision 2030.

He said culture can play a key role in ending many of the global crises which are not political but cultural in nature.

Dr Al Kuwari also highlighted change towards a multi-cultural world and said more needs to be done to reach a higher level of mutual respect between cultures.
